TIMELESS

flourishing women who feel

A sisterhood of

at any age.

Hello!

We’re Niamh and Leah.

We’re two Melbourne-based corporate women turned qualified nutritionist and PT (respectively) who are here to change the narrative of women feeling like they have a ‘best before’ date. We hear it from our female clients all the time:

I feel invisible. I don’t know what my value is anymore now that I’m going through menopause.

I can’t wear that, I’m too old!

I can’t fight the inevitable. I’ll just have to accept I’ll never look or feel as good as I did when I was young.

When did those become the rules?

Grandmothers were revered and goddesses used to be adored… crone status, forehead wrinkles, juicy hips, rampant emotions, perceptible flaws and all! How did we get from there to constant self-sabotage, shame, and shrinking?

We’ve had enough of this. And if you are here, maybe you have too. We’re on a mission to build a whole community of women who feel timeless, whatever age they may be.

Timelessness can be such an abstract concept, but we break it down into 4 tangible tenets. Read on for more.

Death to ‘best before’. Cheers to timelessness!

What makes a TIMELESS woman?

  • There's nothing more aging than pain, suffering and loss of independence.

A timeless woman understands the importance of freedom and autonomy.

This starts with physical health and well-being. If that's not a priority, nothing else CAN be a priority. Just ask someone who's sick.

Look after yourself and hold on to vitality for as long as you can by:

    • eating nutritionally wholesome meals, prioritising protein and fibre, and without restricting food groups

    • strength training regularly to maintain muscle mass and bone density

    • walking every day (movement is medicine!)

    • investing in skincare, or at the bare minimum sunscreen and moisturiser . If make up is confidence-building for you, imagine how a foundation of healthy skin would feel!

    • and educating yourself on what's to come... menopause is like a marathon: the way to prepare for it is before it happens

  • Your mindset and attitude dictates how you show up in the world.

Life can be sh*t sometimes. Life can be reaaaally sh*t sometimes.

Here's the thing, sis: your response is so much more powerful than the circumstance.

Do you crumble in the corner refusing to get up?

Or do you give yourself the grace of wallowing just for a tiny bit, then proclaim "I CAN do hard things" and face the demons?

Check the language too because that matters ("I HAVE to vs I GET to" hits difference doesn't it?).

This is the difference between a girl trapped in perpetual victimhood and the queen who conquers.

  • Ok, here's the tough love part (heavy on the love, promise). Ask yourself these questions;

    • Do you find that you always don't have time to do the things you say you need or want?

    • Do you have daily/weekly goals but don't tick them all off... so you give up and abort mission altogether?

    • Does the thought of setting boundaries make you break out in a cold sweat?

    • Are you afraid of saying no to things?

If you said yes to these, sis, your self-sabotaging behaviour does not a timeless woman make.

A timeless woman sets herself up for success by planning, staying consistent, and being intentional with everything she does.

She is relentless in the pursuit of her goals, but also gives herself grace when things don't go to plan. She is a woman after all...

  • Femininity is every woman's birthright.

What does that mean? Well, whatever came up for you as you read that... that's it! The beauty of this is that there's no right or wrong. You get to make the rules. YOU get to decide.

Did 'emotional' come to mind? Perfect! Emotions are our superpower. We lead the world in being vulnerable but we have a responsibility to learn how to respond to our emotions, rather than mindlessly react to them.

Women are intuitive creatures. We have a deep knowing within us that carries ancient wisdom and can't be explained by logic. Learn to listen and trust that.

We are also playful and creative beings. Play is how we flourish! Play is how we shake off oppressive heaviness. Play is how we become magnetic.

We are cyclical. Ferociously go-getting one minute, requiring rest the next. That is absolutely ok.

And the relationship with our bodies? That's our lifelong work. We deserve to feel sexy... like someone poured honey all over us and wants to lick it off... and that has nothing to do with age or the way we look.

YOU CAN FEEL LESS SH*T IN 3 HOURS

In our workshop, we’ll give you evidence-based information and strategies for menopause which you can implement RIGHT NOW! We’ll help you understand about the biology of hormones, lifestyle factors that worsen your symptoms, long term health complications that come along with all of this, as well as hormone therapy in a fun and easy-to-digest way.

Don’t just take our word for it!

What women are saying about our workshop:

  • The workshop was thoroughly researched, useful, professional, while also easily digestible and fun! Fantastic learning experience and brilliant workshop.

Tara Fisher - Women’s Personal Trainer and Owner of 4Her Fitness

  • The most life-changing thing I got out of this workshop was hope. I reached this stage of life and felt I would be judged for being old and redundant. You allowed me to share and not feel shame.

    Deb Clarke - Workshop Participant

  • The workshop really gave me perspective. I realised many women feel isolated or 'not normal' or embarrassed. Or didn't know their symptoms were linked to menopause!

Stacey Gerace - Nutritionist and Workshop Participant

  • Learning about HRT opened my eyes. And I am now going to do the right thing for myself in my 40s... like strength training, nutrition and taking the right supplements.

    Laura Craig - Workshop Participant
